New Airport Scanners Will See Through Bodies

Australia will be trialling x-ray scanners at airports that can provide a crisp image of a persons insides.
Australian customs found 60 pounds of drugs inside the bodies of travelers last year, now legislation is before the Federal Parliament that would allow customs officers to use these new body scanners to view all objects beyond folds of skin instead of sending drug-smuggling suspects to hospitals for internal X-rays ordered by a doctor.
Millimeter-wave and BackScatter body scanners have failed miserably in detecting dangerous weapons; an undercover TSA agent successfully passed through security multiple times with a handgun. Adam Savage from Mythbusters came out and said the “TSA x-rayed my junk, but they missed 12-inch razor blades in my coat”.
The Millimeter-wave scanner can (supposedly) detect metal objects but is incapable of detecting plastics or liquid objects. The BackScatter can detect metal objects and some plastics but both are only capable of seeing through clothing and not folds of skin. This new scanner is a hospital-grade full-body scanner, the same method used for bone fractures and mammograms.
The scanners that will most likely roll out first are called Digital Radiography Scanners (DRS) that are being mass produced and ready to roll out as soon as governments decide to use them. They are currently used in some airports, mining and correctional facilities in a few countries, however this scanner is relatively new in U.S., Britain and Australia.
These types of x-ray machines are much more hazardous to the human organism than both of the millimeter-wave and backscatter combined. Radiography and Tomography machines are potentially deadly as they emit deep penetrating ionizing x-rays, through the human body. Researches find CT scanners will cause 29,000 cancers and kill nearly 15,000 Americans from diagnostic tests done in 2007.
Forget about scanners looking at your ‘junk’, in the near future we will all be zapped with deadly-doses of radiation for the sake of fatherland security.

Concern has been mounting for almost a decade as scientists hunched over their instruments and double-checked new data concerning the status of the Earth’s crucial magnetic field.
The magnetic field protects all life from damaging solar radiation. Exposure to such radiation can cause cancer and mutate DNA. Some researchers believe evolution has been driven in part by epochs marked by a failing or weak magnetic field that allowed the surface of the world to be bathed with intense ultra-violet and other deadly forms of life-changing radiation.
Tipping point
Now new evidence has emerged leading some scientists to believe that the magnetic pole shift—an ongoing phenomenon that has been happening for decades—has reached a tipping point.
According to a report issued by the prestigious British Geological Survey (BGS), evidence suggests the magnetic reversal has begun.
The BGS has taken this position based on careful analysis of a region of the Earth known as the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA). It’s an area where the magnetic field is in a state of flux and has weakened noticeably. The data shows the anomaly is growing rapidly and spreading west from South Africa.
All of this indicates the Earth’s liquid core is changing.
“This may be early evidence of a forthcoming reversal in the direction of the Earth’s internal magnetic field,” states the article on the BGS website.
The horrible truth
Why scientists and others are not eager to share is the fact that no one alive has a clue what will happen as the magnetic field weakens and shifts and then flips.
There are educated guesses and best guesses. There are extrapolations and assumptions. And there are theories—lot’s of them. They range from the shift causing minor inconveniences like recalibrating runways at airports like the facility in Tampa was recently forced to do, to Doomsday scenarios where the entire field disappears exposing all life—including human life—to blistering, deadly radiation and the ghastly mutations that follow.
Some geophysicists believe that the process of magnetic pole shift takes hundreds or thousands of years. Yet others point to an 11,500 year cycle and evidence of a correlation between leaps in evolution (they argue driven by radiation exposure).
Data points
Woolly mammoths went extinct when the Gothenburg magnetic reversal occurred some 11,500 years ago.
The Earth collapsed into a catastrophic Ice Age when the Mono Lake magnetic reversal took place 23,000 years ago.

A small asteroid passed within the moon’s distance from the Earth on Wednesday morning, and another will do likewise later in the day, space watchers say.
The objects don’t pose a threat to Earth, and they will not be visible to the naked eye, said Donald Yeomans, manager of NASA’s Near Earth Program, which tracks potentially hazardous asteroids and comets within 28 million miles of Earth.
Near-Earth asteroid 2010 RX30, which is estimated to be 32 to 65 feet in diameter, passed within 154,000 miles of Earth at 5:51 a.m. ET Wednesday, the website PopFi.com confirmed.
The second object, 2010 RF12, estimated to be 20 to 46 feet in diameter, will pass within 49,088 miles of Earth at 5:12 pm ET.
