One-quarter of all the maize and other grain crops grown in the US now ends up as biofuel in cars rather than being used to feed people, according to new analysis which suggests that the biofuel revolution launched by former President George Bush in 2007 is impacting on world food supplies.
The 2009 figures from the US Department of Agriculture shows ethanol production rising to record levels driven by farm subsidies and laws which require vehicles to use increasing amounts of biofuels.
“The grain grown to produce fuel in the US [in 2009] was enough to feed 330 million people for one year at average world consumption levels,” said Lester Brown, the director of the Earth Policy Institute, a Washington thinktank ithat conducted the analysis.
Last year 107m tonnes of grain, mostly corn, was grown by US farmers to be blended with petrol. This was nearly twice as much as in 2007, when Bush challenged farmers to increase production by 500% by 2017 to save cut oil imports and reduce carbon emissions.
More than 80 new ethanol plants have been built since then, with more expected by 2015, by which time the US will need to produce a further 5bn gallons of ethanol if it is to meet its renewable fuel standard.
According to Brown, the growing demand for US ethanol derived from grains helped to push world grain prices to record highs between late 2006 and 2008. In 2008, the Guardian revealed a secret World Bank report that concluded that the drive for biofuels by American and European governments had pushed up food prices by 75%, in stark contrast to US claims that prices had risen only 2-3% as a result.
Since then, the number of hungry people in the world has increased to over 1 billion people, according to the UN’s World Food programme.
“Continuing to divert more food to fuel, as is now mandated by the US federal government in its renewable fuel standard, will likely only reinforce the disturbing rise in world hunger. By subsidising the production of ethanol to the tune of some $6bn each year, US taxpayers are in effect subsidising rising food bills at home and around the world,” said Brown.
“The worst economic crisis since the great depression has recently brought food prices down from their peak, but they still remain well above their long-term average levels.”
The US is by far the world’s leading grain exporter, exporting more than Argentina, Australia, Canada, and Russia combined. In 2008, the UN called for a comprehensive review of biofuel production from food crops.
“There is a direct link between biofuels and food prices. The needs of the hungry must come before the needs of cars,” said Meredith Alexander, biofuels campaigner at ActionAid in London. As well as the effect on food, campaigners also argue that many scientists question whether biofuels made from food crops actually save any greenhouse gas emissions.
But ethanol producers deny that their record production means less food. “Continued innovation in ethanol production and agricultural technology means that we don’t have to make a false choice between food and fuel. We can more than meet the demand for food and livestock feed while reducing our dependence on foreign oil through the production of homegrown renewable ethanol,” said Tom Buis, the chief executive of industry group Growth Energy.

Iran says US, UK, Canada assist Afghan drug trade

A senior Iranian anti-drug official has accused the US, Britain and Canada of playing a major role in Afghanistan’s lucrative drug trade.
On the sidelines of an anti-drug conference in Tehran, deputy head of Iran’s Drug Control Headquarters Taha Taheri said that Western powers are aiding the drug trade in Afghanistan.
“According to our indisputable information, the presence of the United States, Britain and Canada has not reduced the dug trade and the three countries have had major roles in the distribution of drugs,” IRIB quoted Taheri as saying on Thursday.
Iranian officials have always criticized Western countries over their policies towards Afghanistan, where poppy cultivation has drastically increased since the US-led military occupation of the country in 2001.
Taheri added that drug catalysts are being smuggled into Afghanistan through borders that are controlled by US, British and Canadian troops.
Some 13,000 tones of drug catalysts are brought into Afghanistan every year as the war-torn country is the producer of 90 percent of the world’s opium.
The UN office on drugs and crime said last month that the 2009 potential gross export value of opium from Afghanistan stood at $2.8 billion.
Iranian police officials maintain that drug production in Afghanistan has had a 40-fold increase since the US-led invasion of the country in 2001.
“More than 340 tones of drugs have been seized all over Iran in the past nine months,” IRNA quoted the commander of the drug squad, General Hamid Reza Hossein-Abadi, as saying earlier this month.
The UN has praised Tehran for its commitment to the fight against drug trafficking.

Health Canada is proposing an unorthodox way of combatting a food ingredient suspected in some cancers: It wants to let manufacturers put small amounts of a cancer-fighting drug into potato chips and similar foods to curb production of the harmful chemical.
Ever since acrylamide was discovered seven years ago in such foods as french fries and chips cooked at high temperatures, scientists have struggled for a way to get it out. The chemical is not added deliberately; it is an unintentional byproduct of cooking.
Though the evidence is far from definitive, acrylamide has been connected to cancer in animals and possibly people.
As a partial answer, Health Canada is suggesting removing the requirement for a prescription to administer the enzyme asparaginase, except when it is injected into leukemia patients as a treatment.
That way, food companies could include small amounts of the drug in their products, the department says in a “notice of intent” document published on Saturday. Evidence suggests that asparaginase lessens the production of acrylamide by as much as 90%.
The enzyme is destroyed in cooking so would have no impact on people consuming the food, said Varoujan Yaylayan, associate professor with McGill University’s food-science department.
“It has been used quite effectively on an experimental basis,” he said. “It appears to work.”
The acrylamide issue has preoccupied food manufacturers as they brace for the possibility of regulations that could limit levels of the chemical or ban it outright. California actually sued french fry and chip makers over the question, with several agreeing last year to reduce the volume of acrylamide in their goods.
“It’s been a big, big problem,” Prof. Yaylayan said. “Not so much in the public eye, but behind doors, the companies keep having meetings, having scientific symposia and seminars. I have attended many of them, here, in the U.S., in Europe.”
Manufacturers “fully support” the move suggested by Health Canada, Derek Nighbor of Food and Consumer Products of Canada said in a statement provided by the industry group yesterday.
Health Canada is accepting feedback on the idea for 75 days, and could implement it in six to eight months, the government document said.
Swedish scientists discovered in 2002 that acrylamide, used in making various industrial and consumer products, also occurred in foods ranging from breakfast cereals to bread cooked at over 120-degrees celsius. A by-product of heating certain sugars, levels are particularly elevated in carbohydrate-heavy food heated to high temperatures like chips and fries.
Tests have found that consuming the chemical increases the risk of some cancer in rodents. Evidence of its effect on humans who eat it in food is less clear, though, with some research linking it to cancer but most studies finding that the levels people eat would have no carcinogenic effect, said Lorelei Mucci, a Harvard medical school assistant professor who studies the issue.
In fact, Dr. Mucci questions devoting much energy or money to the substance.
Volumes of the chemical can be reduced by cooking at lower temperatures or soaking the product in water first to extract some sugar, but such techniques can affect the pleasant odour, crispiness or colour of some food.
Asparaginase is injected in leukemia patients, where it breaks down asparagine, an amino acid, killing the cancer cells. When it is applied to potatoes or other food before cooking, it similarly reduces the amount of asparagine, the key ingredient in the inadvertent production of acrylamide.
The “downstream effects” of using asparaginase to counter the chemical in food should be studied carefully, advised Dr. Mucci.

In her editorial published on Tuesday, columnist Diane Francis wrote that, “A planetary law, such as China’s one-child policy, is the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate.”
Just days later, the Chinese government delegation at the Copenhagen climate change conference argued that the Communist dictatorship’s one child policy should “serve as a model for integrating population programs into the framework of climate change adaptation.”
As we have exhaustively documented, the overpopulation myth is often cited by control freak phony environmentalists as a justification for the implementation of drastic policies, yet it has no basis in reality whatsoever.
Due to falling fertility rates globally, humans will soon stop replacing themselves and population numbers will naturally fall.
Populations in developed countries are declining, only in third world countries are they expanding dramatically. Industrialization itself levels out population trends and even despite this world population models routinely show that the earth’s population will level out at 9 billion in 2050 and slowly decline after that. “The population of the most developed countries will remain virtually unchanged at 1.2 billion until 2050,” states a United Nations report. The UN’s support for depopulation policies is in direct contradiction to their own findings.
Once a country industrializes, there is an average of a 1.6 child rate per household, so the western world population is actually in decline. That trend has also been witnessed in areas of Asia like Japan and South Korea. The UN has stated that global population will peak at 9 billion and then begin declining.
Since radical environmentalists are pushing to de-industrialize the world in the face of the so called CO2 threat, this will reverse the trend that naturally lowers the amount of children people have. If climate change fanatics are allowed to implement their policies, global population will continue to increase and overpopulation may become a real problem – another example of how the global warming hysterics are actually harming the long term environment of the earth by preventing overpopulated countries from developing and naturally lowering their birth levels.
As is the norm with these so-called “liberals” who espouse modern-day eugenics, what they are advocating are the most illiberal, inhumane and barbarous policies imaginable – a Hitlerian final solution in the name of saving Mother Earth.
We need to call out these people for what they are – would-be mass murderers who are advocating arcane and brutal programs of global eugenics that have no place in the 21st century.
Francis’ poorly written diatribe is not only absent of facts, it is shockingly devoid of any notion of compassion or humanity for what a global implementation of China’s one child policy will entail.
China’s one child policy is enforced by way of forced abortions, infanticide and compulsory sterilization.
Somewhere in the region of twenty-five million men in China are unable to find brides because so many girls are murdered shortly after birth. The explosion in the illegal sex trade in Asia is also a direct result of the shortage of women.
In many cases, women are literally kidnapped off the street by state goons from the “Birth Control Office,” driven to government hospitals, drugged, and their child is forcibly aborted.
In one case earlier this year, both a young woman and her baby were killed after such an abduction in Liaocheng City.
“According to a Doctor at the hospital where the two died, the young woman was kidnapped by the “Birth Control Office” and taken to the hospital where she was forced to undergo an abortion procedure,” reported the Epoch Times.
“The young woman fought with staff to protect her unborn child however a half a dozen men, pushed her down on a bed and injected her with a drug to induce labor. After the young woman had a still birth, she developed a massive hemorrhage and soon thereafter died.”
This is the kind of tyrannical regime Francis is calling to be introduced worldwide.
Policies introduced in the name of cutting CO2 emissions are already killing millions of people in the third world. The implementation of policies arising out of fraudulent fearmongering and biased studies on global warming is already devastating the third world, with a doubling in food prices as a result of the introduction of biofuels causing mass starvation and death.
If Diane Francis is so keen on getting rid of stupid people that breed too much, then maybe she should step forward as the first candidate. As with all these control freaks, people like Ted Turner who calls for a 95% population reduction yet has five children and is the largest land owner in North America with some 2 million acres, they are utter hypocrites – do as I say not as I do. Francis herself has two children, according to her Wikipedia biography – one more than what she says the rest of the world should be allowed to have by decree of the dictatorial system of government she is proposing.
On the positive side, the reaction to Francis’ editorial has been vehement, furious and hostile to the kind of authoritarian hell she is pushing. Comments in response to her article were almost universally in opposition, as were callers to radio shows that she subsequently appeared on.

U.S. troops’ continental patch proves North American Union agenda

Troops in the United States’ USNORTHCOM ranks appear to have adopted a shoulder patch showing a North American continental design, with an emphasis on United Nations colors, giving evidence of the North American Union ‘conspiracy theory’ plans to merge Canada, Mexico and the U.S. into one super-state.
The patch reveals the continent of North America in the orange and blue colors typical to the U.N.
It also carries the image of a mosque to designate the unit’s service in North Africa in World War II.
The insignia patch is displayed on the 5th Army website, the home of U.S. Army North, USARNORTH, the Joint Force Land Component Command and the Army Service Component Command of USNORTHCOM.
The design of the patch with the U.S. eagle image superimposed seems to imply a hierarchy in which the U.S. 5th Army exerts its military command under the authority of USNORTHCOM, with its domain defined as all North America, including the U.S., Mexico and Canada, for the United Nations, as implied in the orange and blue motif.

In 2007, WND published a six-part exclusive series detailing that USNORTHCOM is a U.S. military combatant command created to respond to national emergencies in North America.
WND also has reported that the U.S. and Canada signed a military agreement Feb. 14 allowing the armed forces from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a domestic civil emergency, even one that does not involve a cross-border crisis.
The USNORTHCOM logo similarly displays a continental design, but without the U.N. colors, as is clear from the emblem displayed in the upper left hand corner of the USNORTHCOM Internet homepage.

Despite national polls indicating that only one third of Canadians intend to get the H1N1 flu vaccine, a Federal Health Minister says it is the government’s goal to vaccinate 100% of the population.
“My goal is to have 100 per cent of Canadians (vaccinated),” chief public health officer Dr. David Butler-Jones told reporters at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg.
The minister stated that the vaccine will be rolled out in the first week of November, with the goal of vaccinating everyone by the end of December.
“No step is going to be skipped,” the health minister pledged. Once the vaccine is approved, it will be shipped to the provinces and territories and local health authorities will operate immunization programs.”
Butler-Jones made the statement at a press gathering to announce a funding boost for swine flu research from the federal government in the shape of $2.4 million.
“At the end of the day, it is an individual choice,” he said. “(But) if you don’t want H1N1, get the vaccine.” Butler-Jones urged.
“We’re very fortunate as Canadians to be able to have that choice.” he added
Last week a new Canadian Press Harris-Decima poll indicated that only a third of people in Canada intend to take the shot. That figure is down from 45% in a similar poll conducted in August.
Only 11 per cent of respondents described themselves as very concerned about H1N1.
Butler-Jones scolded a portion of Canadian health workers who have also indicated that they do not intend to get vaccinated:
“Doctors and nurses are not immortal, as much as we might think we are,” he said. “And, unfortunately, if we’re not immunized, and we have influenza, we’ll take it into the nursing home and hospital and, potentially, we’ll kill our patients.”
The concerns of Canadian doctors and Health Workers have been proven justified by a study led by Dr Danuta Skowronski of the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control and Dr Gaston De Serres of Laval University, Quebec. The study found that seasonal flu jabs could double the risk of developing swine flu.
The World Health Organisation has dismissed the research as inconclusive, however some provincial and territorial public health authorities in Canada, including those in Ontario, have expressed great concern, leading to threats to delay or cancel mass vaccination programs.
Canada is to use the adjuvanted GlaxoSmithKline H1N1 vaccine Pandemrix, which contains both squalene and thimerosal, which have been linked with neurological side effects.
Pandemrix has also been “fast tracked” based on research only using “mock up” bird flu vaccines dating from 2007 and 2008.
The Canadian government, like those of the US and the UK, has agreed to protect the producer of it’s H1N1 vaccine from lawsuits over potential side effects.
The majority of cases of swine flu in Canada have turned out to be mild, with the virus having been linked to 79 deaths. The seasonal flu usually kills around 2000 people per year in Canada.
On Wednesday Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper appeared to hedge when asked if he and his family would get vaccinated.

Having anti-2010 Olympic signs during Vancouver games could mean $10,000-a-day fine, six-months in jail

A proposed B.C. law would allow municipal officials to enter homes to seize unauthorized and possibly anti-Olympic signs on short notice, civil libertarians say.
Violators could be fined up to $10,000 a day and jailed up to six months, the B.C. Civil Liberties Association said Friday.
The proposed law was introduced Thursday as a bill to amend the Municipalities Enabling and Validating Act.
The government said in a statement that the changes will “provide the municipalities of Vancouver, Richmond and Whistler with temporary enforcement powers to enable them to swiftly remove illegal signs and graffiti during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.”

Russian Scholar Says US Will Collapse By 2010 – Re-Colonization of America Before 2011

Russian Professor Igor Panarin predicts that the United State will completely collapse due to the faltering economy in 2010 much like the Soviet Union did in 1991, he also warns Barack Obama will order Martial Law during the economic depression that will create total chaos for Americans while the still-standing nations take over the country. According to the professor the states will split into six rump-states before 2011 where Russia, China, European Union, Canada, Japan and Mexico will re-colonize what’s left of the United States.
“In my opinion, the probability of the U.S. ceasing to exist by June, 2010 exceeds 50%. At this point,” warns Panarin, a doctor and professor of Russian Diplomatic Academy Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Panarin also made it clear that President Obama has and will do nothing to stop the coming collapse of the U.S. economy and the U.S. dollar, he says can all begin to unfold as early as November 2009.
“Obama is “the president of hope”, but in a year there won’t be any hope,” said Panarin. “He’s practically another Gorbachev – he likes to talk but hasn’t really managed to do anything. Gorbachev at least had been a secretary of a regional communist party administration, whereas Obama was just a social worker. His mentality is totally different. He’s a nice person and talks nicely – but he’s not a leader and will take America to a crash. When Americans understand that – it will be like a bomb explosion.”
Obama has officially embraced the New World Order at the G20 meeting in New York, stating; “The time has come for the world to move into a new direction” and that the world must “embrace a new era of mutual interests”.
Basically the New World Order is a World Government agenda that will force all nation-states to be in favor of a World Government Dictatorship, under the auspices of the United Nation. The plan is to divide the world into 3 giant Continental Unions, each will have their own individual currency.
The goal is an “Asian-Pacific Union” and the “American Union” both modeled after the already established European Union (EU). The EU has its common currency, the euro, and a European Parliament that can impose laws and the once sovereign nations of Europe and a European Court superior to the highest courts of member states. The EU is effectively a single super-state.
The “American Union” is to evolve from the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, as it extends throughout the Western Hemisphere. The common currency is to be the “amero”. Panarin previously stated that the U.S. dollar would eventually be replaced with “a common Amero currency as a new monetary unit”, referring to the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement between the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
There has been a lot of talk about continental currencies, but there has also been talks about a world ‘super currency’ controlled by the IMF under the control of the United Nations. It remains to be seen and is open for debate what exactly will happen, regardless of the currency choice, national sovereignty will be given up if any of these new currencies are implemented.
A nation’s currency is a symbol of sovereignty, so when things like the euro are created it destroys the sovereignty of all the countries entrapped in the European Union. So the internationalists want to collapse America’s sovereignty because many of them know that if Americans knew of their plans to destroy U.S. sovereignty they would revolt against the United Nations and there would never be a New World Order without the U.S. just like there wouldn’t be a European Union without Ireland. The internationalists members of the Bilderberg group this year have discussed the desire for a short-but-painful depression in the United States that paves the way for their new sustainable economic world order, destroying America’s sovereignty and paving the way for World Dictatorship.
There are so many things that have already been accomplished for the creation of a World Government:
1) The enactment of the Lisbon Treaty that completes the European Union has been finalized, Ireland has voted ‘Yes’ to the treaty just recently and will create a seat for a new EU President (Tony Blair) who will be in control of the entire European continent. 2) The internationalists are planning to destroy the U.S. economy and the U.S. dollar through manipulation, debt and hyperinflation, the Federal Reserve has been successfully devaluing the dollar by printing money out of thin air to counter the effects of the crisis. The Fed’s destruction of the dollar will topple its dominance in the world market as the currency of choice. The recent election victory for Japan’s Democratic Party is another sign that the economic collapse of the dollar is coming, according to Panarin:

Japan’s Democratic Party won the election, and I’d like to remind you that its leader [Yukio Hatoyama] has the snubbing of the dollar among his economic plans. In plainer words, he plans to transfer Japan’s monetary reserves from US dollars into another currency. The move will seriously accelerate the dollar’s exchange slump as early as this November. Disintegration will follow shortly,” he said, adding that next year China would also begin to massively dump the dollar and that Russia would begin to sell oil and gas for roubles.
The new Bilderberg-backed Japanese President fully supports the plan for an Asian-Pacific Union that will have its own regional currency like the EU.
Panarin forsees the U.S. breaking up into six large estates by 2011, roughly along the lines of the beginning of North American colonialism where British, French and Spanish settlers were the main countries that fought for Indian land.
Panarin sees all the states of the west including California will be part of China, the entire north including the central states with their large Native American populations will be under the influence of Canada (which is a British Commonwealth Nation), the majority of the eastern states may be taken over by the European Union, the Southern states including New Mexico and Florida will be under the influence of Mexico and Alaska would go to Russia and Hawaii would either go to China or Japan. A daycare worker employed by Northeast Health in Albany New York was shocked to be told by her boss that she would be fired if she refused to take a seasonal swine flu shot on the spot. Similar stories have been pouring in to us from all over the country as fears that the upcoming H1N1 shot will also be mandatory continue to grow.
The case emphasizes why President Obama’s claim that the swine flu shot will be voluntary is completely deceptive and misleading. Americans across the country, even those not directly connected with health care work, are being ordered to take the mandated seasonal and swine flu shots or lose their jobs.
The story of what happened to the daycare worker, who would like to go by the pseudonym “Clare,” was sent to us by her sister who also provided Clare’s real name and the full name of the facility she is employed with.
Clare works in a daycare center which is affiliated with the local hospital but in a completely separate building. It was reported earlier this month that all hospital workers in the entire region would be forced to take the seasonal flu shot or lose their jobs and that the vaccine would become a condition of employment.
“On the Tuesday morning following the Labor Day weekend (Sept 8th), the director of the daycare of Northeast Health announced to employees on the spot (without a meeting, memo or discussion) that everyone had to go get a flu shot immediately and staff would be rotated so that everyone would be inoculated by the end of the day,” writes Clare’s sister.
“Clare said “I don’t get flu shots” and was told “well then you’ll be fired.”
The director told Clare that the H1N1 shot would also be mandated in the same way when it becomes available. When Clare warned the director that the swine flu shot contained mercury, squalene and other dangerous additives, the director told her that regardless of her objections, if she refused to be vaccinated she would be suspended from November 13th and then formally fired on November 30th.
“Clare asked how she can be fired for something that was not a condition of her employment when she was hired? She was told it was not Northeast Health’s policy, it was the director of the New York State Department of Health who made the shot mandatory,” writes her sister.

In the meantime, as an example of how mandatory vaccinations are spreading, consider the document here issued by HCA, the Home Care Association of New York State.
The memo here, dated August 21, 2009, indicates that all “home health direct care workers, among others, [are] to be vaccinated against influenza as a precondition to employment and on an annual basis.” The directive was issued by the New York State Department of Health.
The New York State Department of Health expects health care employees to receive both the seasonal and the coming H1N1 vaccines.
The CDC has released a hierarchical list of “groups targeted” for vaccination. Pregnant women, “household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age,” healthcare and emergency medical services personnel, and all people from 6 months through 24 years of age are “targeted” for vaccination.
At present, only health care personnel are required to take the toxic shot at risk of losing their employment. “The committee believes that once the demand for the vaccine for these prioritized groups has been made, that programs and providers should begin to vaccinate everyone from the age of 25 through 64 years,” the memo states.
How long before other workers directly in contact with the public will be required by the state and employers to take seasonal and H1N1 vaccinations? Will daycare employees and the counter jockey at the local Quick Pic be required to pony up for their squalene and mercury injection?

Russian Professor Igor Panarin says that events are continuing to confirm his doomsday prediction first made over 10 years ago, that the United States will completely collapse like the Soviet Union before the end of 2010, and warns that the chaos could begin to unfold in as little as two months.
Panarin, doctor of political sciences and professor of the Russian Diplomatic Academy Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told journalists during the unveiling of his new book yesterday that President Obama has done nothing to forestall the fast approaching crisis and that it could begin to properly unfold in November.

Longer term, Panarin predicts that the breakaway states will eventually be taken over by the European Union, Canada, China, Mexico, Japan and Russia and America will cease to exist altogether, as depicted in the illustration above.
Panarin blames the collapse on a “political elite that implements an absurd and aggressive policy that aims to create conflicts around the planet” and warns that increasing firearms sales in the U.S. are a sign that people are preparing for “chaos” in the aftermath of a total financial meltdown.
“In my opinion, the probability of the US ceasing to exist by June, 2010 exceeds 50%. At this point, the mission of all major international powers is to prevent chaos in the US,” Panarin concluded.

Flashback: Obama Orders Continuation Of Illegal CIA Renditions
About two years ago, candidate Obama, writing in Foreign Affairs, strongly criticized Bush’s practice of “extraordinary renditioning.” Under this policy, terror suspects were apprehended, transferred, sometimes through secret prisons and black cites, and handed over to foreign regimes like Egypt and Morocco. Sometimes this involved torture. Maher Arar, for example, was a Canadian citizen later determined to be innocent, captured in New York and sent to Syria where he was tortured in brutal ways. See this piece in the New Yorker chroniciling other such horror stories.
Obama’s criticism of renditioning, along with his general criticism of the Bush administration’s violations of habeas corpus, was one of his most serious indictments of the war on terrorism as managed by the Republicans.
Now the New York Times reports that “[t]he Obama administration will continue the Bush administration’s practice of sending terror suspects to third countries for detention and interrogation, but will monitor their treatment to insure they are not tortured.”
How will they monitor such treatment? The administration “would give the State Department a larger role in assuring that transferred detainees would not be abused.” This is the State Department headed by Hillary Clinton — the same politician whom Ann Coulter had said she’d vote for over John McCain because Clinton was more pro-torture!
The Times goes on to report:
“It is extremely disappointing that the Obama administration is continuing the Bush administration practice of relying on diplomatic assurances, which have been proven completely ineffective in preventing torture,” said Amrit Singh of the American Civil Liberties Union, who tracked rendition cases under President George W. Bush.
She cited the case of Maher Arar, a Syrian-born Canadian sent in 2002 by the United States to Syria, which offered assurances against torture but beat Mr. Arar with electrical cable anyway.a new administrative interrogation unit, to be housed within the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which will oversee the interrogations of top terror suspects using largely non-coercive techniques approved by the administration earlier this year.”

According to Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said children going back-to-school this fall will be subjected to a nationwide government vaccination campaign where millions of children will be forced to take a vaccine for a non-pandemic flu virus. CDC says school children who haven’t had flu shots will need to get vaccinated four times in the fall – twice for seasonal flu and twice for the swine flu. [Source]
HHS Secretary urges all public schools and day-care superintendents across the country spend their summer vacations preparing for the possibility of a nationwide vaccination scenario if the government decides to give approval. [Source]
Florida health leaders are already working on qualifying firefighters, paramedics and medical students to give swine flu shots to mainly children and “high-risk” health-care workers. Miami-Dade Health Department director says: “We’re bringing in all of our community partners to qualify them to give shots — firemen, nurses in fire departments, paramedics, medical students under the supervision of doctors.” [Source]
On August 17th there will be 12,000 children that would be given an experimental swine flu vaccine to see if the shot will cause any side-effect and also test its effectiveness. This beta-test will most likely be fixed to give the illusion that the swine flu vaccines are completely safe to be used on a massive scale.
Australian immunization specialist Robert Booy predicts swine flu might kill 10-12 children this year in Australia compared to 5-6 deaths from regular flu. Less than 100 children in the U.S. die each year from the average flu virus so that means according to Booy there would be 100 children that could potentially die from the swine flu virus this coming year in the United States. If this mandatory school vaccination program is activated then that means 75 million children will be injected to prevent only 100 swine flu deaths. [Source]
The risks outweigh the benefits, it is ridiculous to mass vaccinate over 75 million kids nationwide to prevent 100 swine flu deaths, especially if this new vaccine resembles anything like the 1976 swine flu vaccine that was given to 40 million people, caused 55 cases of Guillian-Barre syndrome and killed 30 people. The main ingredient for influenza vaccines is either dead virus (inactivated vaccine) or a LIVE VIRUS (attenuated vaccine) that is a weakened form of the virus. Attenuated vaccines are the most dangerous, when they are injected the live virus moves through the human body possibly infecting the host and the virus can be found in the feces, mucous membranes and saliva glands of the inoculated patient. The new H1N1 vaccines are attenuated vaccines, meaning they contain the live H1N1 virus! There is no conspiracy about it, Google attenuated vaccines, it means the vaccine contains a live but weakened form of a pathogenic virus. Do you seriously want to inject swine flu into your bloodstream to pray it will immunize you from the virus? I wouldn’t take that chance.
Not only is the new Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline swine flu vaccine contain the actual live H1N1 but both vaccines also contain a squalene-based adjuvant named MF59 , when squalene is combined with live attenuated virus it becomes many times more potent and lethal. [Source]
GlaxoSmithKline’s version of the swine flu vaccine which swine flu vaccines will be coming out in mid-October contains Thimerosal, a preservative for vaccines mainly composed of deadly toxic mercury. Mercury is the 2nd most toxic metal on the planet and is known to cause autism and other brain related injuries. The vaccine also contains formaldehyde, a cancer-causing chemical used for embalming dead bodies.
This is a chilling breakthrough in this entire swine flu hoax that the vaccine industry and government is salivating hoping to mandatory vaccinate half of the U.S. population to actually CREATE the actual pandemic.

12,000 U.S. Children To Be Swine Flu Vaccine Guinea Pigs

Plans for 12,000 U.S. school children will be used as guinea pigs for experimental swine flu vaccine known to contain dangerous ingredient squalene, which has been directly linked with cases of Gulf War Syndrome and a host of other debilitating diseases.
According to a report in the Oklahoman, 12,000 children nationwide will partake in “fast-tracked studies” to test the side-effects of the untested swine flu vaccine in trials set to begin next month.
“The trials will test the vaccine’s effectiveness and whether or not it has negative side effects in patients,” states the report.
Since less than 100 children in the U.S. die from regular seasonal flu each year, a reasonable estimate would be that around 100 children will die from swine flu over the course of the next year.
So in effect, the authorities will vaccinate millions of children in order to try and prevent 100 deaths. If the mass vaccination program mirrors the previous swine flu outbreak of 1976 then the vaccine is likely to kill more people than the actual virus.
Furthermore, since the swine flu vaccine includes squalene, a dangerous adjuvant that contributed to Gulf War Syndrome cases, there’s little doubt that it will lead to debilitating lifelong diseases far more deadly than the swine flu virus itself for thousands of children if a mass vaccination campaign is conducted.
According to Meryl Nass, M.D., “A novel feature of the two H1N1 vaccines being developed by companies Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline is the addition of squalene-containing adjuvants to boost immunogenicity and dramatically reduce the amount of viral antigen needed. This translates to much faster production of desired vaccine quantities.”

A new report out of left leaning globalist think tank the Brookings Institute confirms an agenda to re-brand the long running effort to merge the US, Canada and Mexico into a Federal superstate akin to the European Union.
The report was highlighted by author Jerome Corsi, who points out that the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America has become much maligned owing to it’s quasi secretive advancement of a North American integration agenda.
“Two top Washington think-tanks have now formally suggested in writing that the Obama administration should rename the SPP as a public relations ploy to advance the North American integration agenda without drawing so much flak from those of us interested in preserving U.S. sovereignty,” Corsi writes in his Red Alert newsletter.
In the Brookings Institute report, titled “Toward a New Frontier: Improving the U.S.-Canadian Border”, Christopher Sands, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, where he specializes on North American economic integration, suggests the Obama administration should continue the agenda of the SPP, but under a new name.
“Despite evidence that NAFTA has been beneficial on balance to American business, workers, and consumers the argument remains vilified by many as an unwarranted move to embrace globalization.” Sands writes.
“President Obama recognized this on the campaign trail in 2008, when he called for the renegotiation of NAFTA’s provisions to correct flaws in the original agreement. As a result, the Obama administration will most likely rename the SPP.” Sands concludes.
The report also suggests focusing more on the integration of the US and Canada as a priority, before bringing Mexico into the equation.
Sands suggests the following three courses of action:
1. “President Obama should borrow from the lexicon of the European Union and announce that the United States will proceed in negotiations with its two neighbors ‘at two speeds,’ moving ahead more quickly where possible with its developed neighbor Canada, and allowing Mexico to proceed more slowly as necessary.”
2. “The Obama administration is likely to want to ‘press the reset button’ on the SPP, an unpopular though valuable initiative that has improved policy coordination between the United States and its neighbors.”
3. “The SPP must be re-branded to win any kind of consensus support. The Obama administration recognizes this, and could take a few tactical steps to make the SPP (or its eventual successor) work better and win broader support.”
Sands defines his vision of the re-branded SPP as an effort “to build a truly ‘new frontier’ on the northern border,” adding that “President Obama’s community organizing experience suits him well for the task ahead.”
Sands is deeply entrenched in the integration agenda, being a member of the Advisory Committee to the U.S. Section of The North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to consult with U.S. government officials in negotiations under the SPP.
The NACC is essentially an elite advisory board comprised of 30 senior private sector representatives of North American corporations that were selected by the American, Canadian and Mexican governments at the June 2006 trilateral meeting in Cancun, Mexico.
Last year, one month prior to the SPP summit in April, documents were uncovered relating how the NACC was formed as part of a public relations overhaul to counter critics of the SPP.
The documents detailed how, through the NACC, corporate representatives were urged to “humanize” North American integration, promote NAFTA success stories to employees and unions and evolve the harmonization agenda “without fueling protectionism”.
The move was seemingly a response to the continued exposition of the integration agenda, which led to representatives within Congress petitioning the government on the secretiveness of the SPP and multiple states introducing resolutions calling on their federal representatives to halt work on the so called “North American Union”.
Earlier this week we revealed that president Obama is scheduled to attend this year’s SPP meeting in Mexico in August 9-10, slated as the “North American Leader’s Summit”.
“The key to understanding what is going on with the SPP under the Obama administration is the realization that globalists always proceed under a stealth agenda,” Jerome Corsi comments.
“Globalists typically mask their real plans to produce regional governments out of trade agreements by changing names and designing different structures when initial attempts to destroy nation-states are exposed and stalled by citizens who are still patriotic enough to cherish what remains left of their national sovereignty.”

The first swine flu death in the United States has been confirmed, but the victim is a Mexican toddler who caught the illness in Mexico before traveling to Texas. Serious questions must now be asked about why a virus that has spread across at least 10 countries and is suspected in many others has only killed hispanics, and whether a race-specific bio-weapon is being beta-tested.
Scientists are still baffled as to the contrast between the lethality of the virus in Mexico compared to the rest of the world. Despite the virus being confirmed in the United States, Canada, the UK, Spain, New Zealand, Germany, Costa Rica, and Austria, with probable cases also occurring in France, South Korea and Slovakia, the virus has killed only Mexicans.
We are also told that the virus which sickened students at a school in Queens is the same strain as the one found in Mexico.
How can it be that the only fatalities are Mexican hispanics nearly a week into the outbreak?
Race-specific viruses can occur naturally, but this is a rare phenomenon. Is the swine flu virus a synthetically manufactured race-specific bio-weapon being beta-tested in preparation for more deadly pandemics in the future?
The U.S. military-industrial complex’s interest in race-specific bio-weapons as a tool of warfare is not a paranoid conspiracy theory – it’s outlined in their own public documents.
“Advanced forms of biological warfare that can target specific genotypes may transform biological warfare from the realm of terror to a politically useful tool,” stated the September 2000 Rebuilding America’s Defenses report released by the Project For A New American Century – the ideological framework of the Bush administration.
In 2006, Armed Forces Journal, a mouthpiece for the military-industrial complex, carried a military strategy plan written by retired Major Ralph Peters which called for “ethnic cleansing” to be instituted in the Middle East so that the region could easily be dominated by the joint interests of Israel and the United States.
As far back as 1998, Wired Magazine, citing the London Times, carried a report detailing the fact that Israel was already readying race-specific weapons for this very purpose.
“Israel is reportedly developing a biological weapon that would harm Arabs while leaving Jews unaffected, according to a report in London’s Sunday Times,” stated the article.
“The report, citing Israeli military and western intelligence sources, says that scientists are trying to identify distinctive genes carried by Arabs to create a genetically modified bacterium or virus.”
Wikipedia – that bastion of credibility – claims that the story was debunked but fails to provide conclusive evidence.
Strong speculation that recently constructed bio-defense facilities in the United States are being used to conduct with race-specific bio-weapons has also come from credible sources.
A 1999 UK Sunday Herald piece highlighted a report by the British Medical Association which concluded that race-specific bio-weapons would be ready within 5 years, “enabling governments to target victims solely on their genetic make-up.”
“Genetic weapons capable of wiping out specific ethnic groups are no longer the stuff of science fiction, military and scientific advisers with the British and American governments have admitted,” states the report.
“Professor Vivienne Nathanson, head of the BMA’s health policy research, said: “Biological weapons had limited use due to the shortcoming of being unspecific in targeting. “However, genetic targeting is now possible. Probably in the next five to 10 years we will see the manufacture of relatively specific biological weapons which are lethal in small volumes.”
The article explains how FBI crime labs have stumbled across genetic markers specific to blacks, whites, hispanics and native Americans during routine work. The same markers have been discovered in Palestinians, setting them apart from Israelis.
“If you add together a number of different markers for different populations you can start to be specific to a target population,” states Nathanson.
Lest we forget the innumerable instances where pioneering eugenicists and members of the global elite have publicly called for the earth’s population to be reduced to “sustainable” levels.
Perhaps the most infamous example of this is Prince Philip, the husband of the Queen of England, who has repeatedly expressed his desire to return to earth as a “particularly deadly virus” to “cull” the surplus human population.
As Alex Jones documents in his seminal documentary End Game, this mind set is endemic amongst the elite.
So having established the fact that race-specific bio-weapons have already been produced and are ready for use, and having confirmed that the elite have repeatedly expressed a desire to use them, it’s necessary to ask whether or not hispanics are being targeted by the swine flu outbreak as a beta-test of these weapons.
Since the common flu virus does kill people every year, a handful of non-hispanic deaths attributed to swine flu will not disprove this hypothesis, which will remain a possibility unless we see a significant number of fatalities of non-hispanics.
